has opinions.

Seven forgotten shifts. A forecast of falling symbols. A Yorkshire voice with considerably more enthusiasm than the payroll department.

Every archive gets its moment

Previously, the ordered campaign rarely returned to a completed property, so players could finish without finding the retro challenges. Now every sixth certificate opens an archive remix before the next district. WATCH AI follows the same route. The last archive stands between property 42 and the final victory.

These are new challenges inside certified properties. Original receipts and certificates stay banked.

Two distinctly unreasonable jobs

Bug Hunt: pick up the blaster near the entrance and zap every patrol. Press F, X or FIRE. Guided bolts seek nearby enemies, straight bolts hit anything they cross, and ammunition is unlimited. The portal opens only after the room is clear.

Byte Dash: collect every glowing archive byte, dodge the patrols and reach the portal within 24 seconds. Death or retry resets the challenge. Pause and hidden tabs freeze the clock.

42.uk in the wallpaper

Three layers of asterisks, broken rings, brackets and geometric emblems drift at different depths. Short code trails travel diagonally and in reverse while symbols slowly rotate and transform. The colours belong to the game’s district palette, and the same original effect runs in 2D and 3D. Reduced motion keeps the background stable.

42 SAYS, with feeling

159 original synthetic Yorkshire recordings mark clears and core dumps, including dedicated Bug Hunt and Byte Dash jokes. The creator approved the animated, theatrical Fast B delivery at 1.5× tempo. Each shipped clip passed its own signal and word checks after conversion; rejected takes are excluded.

“Champion! Another dimension cleared. Still waiting on the plumber.”

A persistent shuffle avoids repeats until the matching pool has been heard. Subtitles match the recording, music dips beneath speech, and mute remains available. The humour tips its hat to retro genres without borrowing their character names, recordings or catchphrases. Voice synthesis ran locally from the creator’s consented reference; that reference remains private.

The wormhole still means business

The asterisk opens into a portal. Willie turns head over heels, spirals towards its centre and shrinks away, then reassembles in the next room. Layered stereo suction and arrival sounds follow the same 5.42-second transfer. Choose PORTAL MOTION → FULL SPIN for the complete somersault animation, or DEVICE / GENTLE for reduced movement.

Your progress comes with you

Old saves keep their property credit and records, then receive any eligible archives they have not played. Reloads on either side of a portal restore the correct encounter. The final results retain their actual score; playable checkpoints keep the established health recovery floor.

Verification includes the complete 49-encounter AI campaign with zero deaths, all 42 combat layouts, Byte Dash timing margins, save migration, portal transfers, pause, voice selection and audio cleanup. Automated completion proves the mechanics; player feedback still guides the feel.
